Hux, originally from Ottawa, always had a passion for robotics and engineering, frequently making small gadgets in her early teens. After graduating highschool, she originally tried to attend post-secondary, first time as a comdesign student (at the same university Juniper and Takaya attend) and second as an engineering student at an institution in Toronto.

She was removed from the latter after consistent threats of violence towards another student, she picked up various odd jobs to pay for rent in a bad neighbourhood downtown and on his spare time would thrift and pick up various pieces of technology off the streets, such as TVs and random appliances. Eventually she landed a job in an experimental robotics lab in Montreal, which granted her access to a multitude of devices and material. The career was overtly corrupt, tasking Hux with creating military-grade weapons.

While walking back from work, she had a run in with someone on the street that left her injured without her wallet. Frustrated, even more so, Hux would then begin slowly stealing material out of her workplace to modify her own body. Starting out small with crafting a sort of cybernetic contact lenses allow for her to see with enhanced vision.

After buying a supply of hard drugs as makeshift painkillers, one night, while staying late in her workspace, Hux successfully amputated both of her arms, replacing them with stronger cybernetic ones, granting her heightened strength within her shoulders. Eventually, the workplace found out and quickly set up a bounty on her head as she eventually fled back to Toronto. Hux now lives on the outskirts of town, selling her work to terrorist entities, discreetly.
